Coming from the PC version, I'm impressed how well Valorant translates to mobile. The Waylay rework balancing Saturate's cast type shows Riot pays attention to mobile-specific balance. The Assist Banner HUD is helpful for tracking team contribution. Ranked is intense and fair. This is the future of mobile esports.

Best shooter I've played on phone

The MX Guardian shotgun is insanely fun to use in close quarters. Battle Royale mode with the new Tactical Mirror class adds interesting loot dynamics. Ranked MP is sweaty but rewarding. The graphics on max settings rival some PC games. Garena's version also gets exclusive events which is nice.

Reminds me of old-school tactical shooters

If you grew up playing the original Delta Force or Counter-Strike, this will feel familiar. The weapon customization is deep, and the maps have good flow. The operator system adds variety without being too overwhelming. Garena keeps pushing regular updates which is reassuring for the game's longevity.

Great for competitive mobile gaming

Been playing since OB20 and the game has improved massively. The esports scene in SEA is thriving. Gun balance is decent right now — M4A1 and Woodpecker are my mains. The new pet system is a nice addition. Only complaint is the UI can feel cluttered sometimes with all the events.
